Have you ever missed someone when life’s challenges were approaching? You can’t stop thinking about him, and you really want to get to know him. You will remember his presence and kindness in the past; when he helped you find a solution to a problem.

 

David hid from Saul. It is the wilderness of Judah. Alone and lonely, David longed for God’s presence. Like a dry desert, so was David's soul.
 
David appreciated God’s power and acknowledged that God’s faithful love was the source of his satisfaction. David believed in God because he had experienced in the past how God's power could bring salvation.
 
God is his helper when no one else can help. For this reason, David had a sincere desire to remain in fellowship with God. David realized that his greatest need was for the Lord God alone.

How beautiful it is to understand that our deepest need is to be intimately connected to God and the Lord of our lives. Then, we will pursue Allah, follow Him steadfastly, long to be with Him always, be afraid of losing Him, and feel helpless without Him.
 
In facing suffering, difficulties, threats, and various life problems, always hope in God and try to stay faithful to the faith. Not only because we want God’s blessings, but because we always want to have fellowship with God’s love and holiness.
