Use Positive Phrases

Use Positive phrases ~ The basis of God's word for the subject of our meditation comes from the Book of Proverbs. This is what the Lord said: “Anxiety in the heart humbles people, but a kind word lifts them up” Proverbs 12:25.

Worrying or complaining about what you don’t have, what people are saying about you, or the complexity of certain problems can make you feel stressed or scared. Someone said things like, “I’m afraid of losing my job because of sluggish sales; I’m afraid I won't be able to pay the mortgage; I'm afraid of catching COVID-19.”

We worry, fear, and stress because we rely on ourselves and don’t trust God. God’s Word tells us not to worry about anything, but in everything, express our wishes to God in prayer and supplication with thanksgiving. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).

One way to measure how much we believe in God is to think about our level of satisfaction and self-sufficiency. If you believe in God, you will think good things and speak good words.

We believe that every problem has a solution. We can rejoice and feel God's peace even though we suffer from some problems and have unfulfilled hopes. When we focus on God, we have God's peace, and we don't have to worry about many problems. There are many problems that can be solved by God's intervention that we cannot solve alone. Considering all the good things, God, the source of peace, will be in our lives.
