Do It Consistently

Do It Consistently - The basis of God’s Word on the subject of our meditation is taken from the Book of Proverbs. God says this: “But the heart of the diligent is overflowing” (Proverbs 13:4).

The book Write Like a Boss was written to encourage and inspire those who want to become full-time writers. Ben Hale, one of America’s most famous writers, tells how he initially set a goal of writing 500 words a day but fell short. Reason: He has three kids, his company is small, and time is too short for him. The following year, he was able to achieve that goal, and then the next goal was 1,000 words.

The problem is not the target level but the continuity of daily execution. And it should perform better in any period. This principle applies to practically any job.

Honestly, the book of Proverbs says that a lazy person is a person who does not realize his desires and only fulfils them. He may have many goals, but they are all wishful thinking.

He rarely succeeds in achieving his own goals. He has lots of reasons. Of course, hard workers also have goals. But the goal is not grandiose. Because what matters to him is the ability to make it happen.

We are considered diligent if we are thorough and get the job done as quickly as possible. When facing a challenge, you must overcome your reluctance. We overcome obstacles, not build them. Goals are important, but not the main goal. It is more important to fulfil duties and responsibilities. When we realize it, our hearts are filled.

Keep up the good work, keep the spirit, and put the Lord Jesus first. May the Lord Jesus bless our lives, our families, our work, and our ministry. Amen…
